The Sponsored Projects Office (SPO) serves the UC San Diego Research Community with high-quality expertise in support of sponsored research administration, including proposal and (non-financial) award management, client experience and training services, system designs, business process improvement, and research enterprise contracts and grant business intelligence. 

Mission

Our mission is to provide exceptional support to our research faculty and staff by facilitating and managing proposals, contracts, grants, and other activities in order to maximize extramural funding to enable groundbreaking research and improve society.

  • Exit Genesee Avenue.
  • Turn left at the off-ramp and proceed up the hill past Science Center Drive and John J. Hopkins Drive.
  • Turn left at the third light onto North Torrey Pines Road.
  • Turn right into the first driveway with the UC San Diego sign.
  • Arrive at 10300 North Torrey Pines Road.

From the North via I-5:
